Street Life

As we arrived this manhole's steam immediately caught my eye. I saw the couple at the other side about to cross the street and immediately knew what I had to do. Previously in class we had learned about street photography and more specifically "decisive moments". This is my decisive moment.
Exiting Central Park, we arrived at Columbus Circle and catching my eye was this globe structure. I didn't want to immediately take a picture of just the globe so I looked for a little fun I could have with the photo. The one way sign points the viewer in the direction of the globe so it can still be a focus of the picture but the picture has many different interpretations due to the balance created by the buildings in the background.
